Dr Johann Christof Ragg - Personal Information
I am a trained physicist and doctor. Since 1981 I have been working on the construction of lasers and their applications. As a specialist in diagnostic radiology, I specialize in imaging techniques and especially ultrasound.
Since 1990 I have been working as a doctor and as a scientist exclusively in the field of interventional vascular medicine, which works with miniature tools instead of conventional surgical operations.
This 'focus' has enabled me to perform more than 100,000 successful catheter interventions on veins and arteries. This is - by international standards as well - an extraordinarily vast experience and a good basis for my constant development of new, even better methods. After more than 250,000 ultrasound examinations of blood vessels, an exact diagnosis is also easy for me, so that I can advise you well.
The angioclinic® vein therapy was developed by me in Switzerland with the support of the Swiss angioclinic® AG and Swiss VX GmbH. It is therefore primarily a Swiss therapy, especially for the needs of the discerning Swiss. I am sure you will be thrilled. I promise to pass on our progress to Swiss doctors in many places.
I have been living and working in Switzerland since 2009. The practice in Zurich is my 'dearest child'. A few days a month I treat patients in Munich and Berlin and then return. My patients can always reach me via my mobile phone (also Skype).
You can find my memberships in medical associations, the Swiss Society of Phlebology (SGP) and the Union of Swiss Societies of Vascular Diseases (USGG) at www.venenragg.de
My academic activities are publicly available for professionals at www.venartis.org.
